RGBWW chips are the latest LED innovations that have additional Warm White and Cool White LEDs instead of just RGB LEDs. The extra white LEDs provide extra scope for mixing colors with the RGB LEDs to produce a wide range of light colors in unique shades.
The Cool White LED produces white lights with color temperatures greater than 5,000 Kelvin (usually between 6,000 and 6,500 Kelvin) while the Warm White LED produces lights below 5,000 Kelvin (between 2,800 and 3,200 Kelvin).
Moreover, Warm White LEDs have a softer yellowish color that is similar to the lights mostly used in residential homes. On the other hand, Cool White LEDs produce fluorescent white lights that are commonly seen in stores. Ginde Star’s RGBWW LED strip lights can produce color-changing lights along with both warm and cool white colors that are suitable for any lighting application.
RGBWW strip lights, also known as RGBCCT, use RGBWW chips. CCT stands for Correlated Color Temperature which means that you can adjust the strip light’s color temperature between cool white and warm white color. They are upgraded versions of our RGBW LED strips and do not have fixed color temperatures like RGBW LED strips. As mentioned earlier, they can produce both warm white and cool white colors.
Ginde Star’s RGBWW strip’s provide more flexibility in creating the color temperature you want because you can adjust our RGBCCT strip light’s color temperature between 2,700 K and 6,500 K. If you cannot decide which colors you want, these lighting options are ideal for you because you will have millions of colors to choose from with the option of switching between warm white and cool white colors. This allows you to achieve the exact light shade and tone you want.
